On June 28 it's that time again 'Argonauts Get Together' will you be there this year?

Be inspired for an evening by our guest speaker. Frederik Waelkens tells us why you need to put both customers and employees first, Sara Vermeulen and Jan Beyne put us on the road to sustainable business and Ivo Dewit and Emely Buyck take us into the wonderful world of life-centered design. In addition, enjoy the great opportunity to network. All this with a delicious snack offered to you. And as icing on the cake the breathtaking view over Antwerp.

Over Saar

Saar is een Gentse service en spatial designer. In haar (werk)leven onderzoekt ze graag het gedrag van mensen, hoe mensen omgaan met producten, diensten en ruimtes, om pijnpunten (lees: kansen) te ontdekken en positieve en motiverende uitkomsten te ontwerpen. Vanuit haar opleiding als industrieel ontwerper en specialisatie in space-en service design heeft ze een brede waaier aan tools en methodieken die ze hiervoor inzet.

Bij de Argonauts houdt ze ervan om aan ambitieuze en complexe projecten te werken voor lokale besturen en overheid. Elk project is een nieuwe uitdaging waar Saar er vanuit haar nieuwgierigheid en gedrevenheid voor de volle 100% voor gaat. Ze doet dit telkens in co-creatie met relevante stakeholders en met de focus op de gebruiker en diens omgeving.

Frederik Waelkens

Frederik Waelkens is a value-driven business leader with a passion for authenticity, inclusion and diversity at Bloomup, a startup dedicated to ensuring the mental well-being of employees. From his previous role as CEO at X2O, he explains the importance of customer and employee centricity in organizations.

Jan Beyne & Sara Vermeulen

Writer, entrepreneur and teacher Jan Beyne takes us through a story of transformation and sustainability. Together with Sara Vermeulen, he founded Route 2030, a consultancy that guides organizations in their transition to sustainable development. In their talk, they will tell us all about including the Sustainable Development Goals in your organization's strategy and how this can also help you enthuse external stakeholders.

Ivo Dewit & Emely Buyck

Ivo Dewit is co-founder of the Service Design Network and a researcher at UA. Together with Emely Buyck, Chief Design Officer at The Argonauts, they explain the impact service design and life-centered design can have. Using some successful cases, they show how this can be used to develop services that are fully tailored to the end user and the ecosystem in which they live.
