From external service to employee intimacy
Challenge
Companies are legally obliged to join an occupational health service as soon as they hire their first employee. Because of this obligation many companies are indifferent or even negative about the added value of their external service.
In addition, the market suffers with an acute shortage of prevention advisers, labor and control physicians and medical controls appear to be not very effective. Absenteeism in absenteeism is at 7.5% in Belgium, which is very high compared with, for example, the Netherlands (3.50%).
Approach
Mensura asked The Argonauts to develop a master plan for the digital transformation of its services. Several co-creation sessions were organized with the management team. This was based on the common goal of Mensura: healthy and happy employees through ’employee intimacy’. Digital transformation takes place at the intersection of people, technology and business. A plan was worked out from these perspectives.
Results
With the Mensura team a roadmap to the future was developed: “Mensura 2.0”. In this roadmap all transformation projects were defined that are necessary to enable the digital transformation: people, processes and technology were included. In addition, advice was given about the organization needed to realize this transformation.
