Discover what customer experience (CX) really means and why it is essential for any organization. You will learn to work with the five core pillars of customer-centric organizations and gain insight into the sense and nonsense of CX KPIs. The course focuses on the central role of customer journey management as an end-to-end approach and mindset, with applicable inspiration for direct impact on customer experience.

Empathy is at the heart of customer focus. In this course, you will learn how to purposefully design user research, avoid bias (or "bias"), and translate insights into actions that move your organization forward. You will discover how to ask the right questions, combine different research methods and obtain reliable results. This will help you develop a keen understanding of what customers really need.

In this course you will learn how to design digital services and processes that do not exclude anyone. You will discover how to involve vulnerable or hard-to-reach target groups and choose a warm-digital approach, where personal and digital channels reinforce each other (click-call-connect). Based on practical examples you will develop an inclusive design view, aimed at simplicity, trust and ease of use for all users.

You will learn how to set up meaningful and credible participation processes as an organization, whether you work in government, healthcare, social profit or other sectors. You will discover how and when to effectively involve residents, users, associations or other stakeholders in projects and decision-making. You will explore the different levels of the participation triangle and learn how to involve the right people for the right purpose, with your feet on the ground.

Digital communication is often the first point of contact with your customer. In this course, you'll learn how to stay clear, human and customer-focused through email, websites, social media and chat tools. You will learn practical tips for adapting tone, language and form to various target groups, including low-literacy or vulnerable users. You will discover how to use nudging to guide subtle behavior for better customer experience.
